Belladhi Pachayath

Bellathi Panchayath is located 14 Kms from Karamadai, it consist of  8 villages such as Bellathi, Mongampalayam, Thottipalayam, Therampalayam, Mollepalayam and Kurumbampalayam.. Mr.S.Kumaresan is President of this Panchayath, elected in 2011,.

Members:

Bellathi Panchayath has Nine members. Current president is acted as a Vice-president on last time.

Population:

Total population = 10,000 .

• Male = 6000.
• Female = 4000.

Occupation:

Main occupation of this panchayath is Agriculture.

Educational Institutions:

Totally 5 schools which are of 3 primary schools and 2 middle schools. One private college is located with in this panchayath (Kumaran College of Arts and Science).

2 industries located in this panchayath 1 is STVT Spinning mill and other is Bishnu cold storage.

Primary Health Center is the only medical centre available in this panchayath and Veterinary hospital located in Therampalayam.
